Michelle Jansen Among Butler University's Newest Generation of Legacies

Butler University welcomed its largest freshman class in history this year, weighing in at 1,111 new students. Of the 1,111 freshmen, 152 are Butler legacies, including Michelle Jansen, a resident of Edgewood, IL.

A legacy includes anyone whose parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles or cousins attended the university. Butler has built a rich tradition for legacies on campus that includes scholarship opportunities and special Welcome Week activities.
